I'm traveling once more, shooting in three cities in four days:
Yesterday I covered the inductions at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I. This year's inductees included tennis stars Pete Sampras and Aranxta Sanchez-Vicario, and photographer Russ Adams (Yey!).
Today I'm at the Fed Cup tennis tie in Stowe, Vt., featuring the U.S. against Russia. Venus Williams won the first match of the day over Anna Chakvetadze, who's at this moment giving a press conference 30 feet away from me. She just said something in Russian.
Tomorrow, weather willing, I'll be shooting travel photos in Woodstock, Vt.
Vermont is beautiful in summer, but Tuesday I'll be back home in Connecticut because I have a softball game. Priorities.
Not that you knew I went (because I neglected to mention it in this blog), but two days ago I returned home from a shoot in the Berkshires.
I was mostly there to make landscape photos for a client based in New England, but I did some other work as well, including the photo of the dewy orb-spider web shown above. That image is just a preview of a few from the Berkshires that I'll post to this site in the coming weeks.
Overall, the trip was good, if not as productive as I'd prefer. But I can make up for that next month when I return to the area to shoot for another few days.
