According to an article in The Independent, paleontologists have uncovered evidence that Australia was once home to killer kangaroos — a carnivorous, fanged marsupial extinct for 10 million years.
Fossils of the animal were discovered in a dig that also unearthed 20 other previously unknown species, including another, long-armed 'roo, and the Demon Duck of Doom (yes, really).
