I was working in Maine with a friend, and we wanted to try to find Curtis Island Light in order to photograph it in pre-sunset light. We drove along the coast near the town of Camden, on the Gulf of Maine, but couldn't find a spot to work from. On the fourth pass along a small road, we noticed a narrow path through a small growth of trees. Sure enough, it led to a tiny spot on shore from which we could make photos of Curtis Island Light.
