On the last day of an autumn shoot in Acadia National Park, I saw the sun rise from the horizon and into the clouds in less than five minutes. It was the last time I saw the sun all morning. At 5 a.m. I'd dragged myself out of bed and into 30-degree air so I could shoot for only five minutes. But at least I got this photo for my effort.
