Line Of Windmills And San Bernadino Mountains (PL599)

A line of windmills stands at the ready next to the San Bernadino Mountains around Palm Springs, California. They're aimed at the San Gorgonio Pass, which will funnel the winds that whip through the mountains, increasing their strength and concentration as they channel into the Coachella Valley. That's where the windmills turn the oncoming air into enough electricity to power not only Palm Springs, but the whole valley.
