Autumn Morning Mist Over Messalonskee Lake (PL303)

The cold of an autumn evening in Maine created a mist over the warmer waters of Messalonskee Lake. But at the end of dawn, the sun rises, quickly warming the air and dissipating the vapor, revealing the glassy surface of the water below. Soon the air will warm enough to grow restless, and a breeze will ripple the surface until nightfall, when the process begins again.
