Joshua trees live up to 200 years in harsh environments, such the mountainous Mojave Desert regions of Joshua Tree National Park. The park is also known for its rocky terrain, which attracts climbers of all skill levels. Here, the two features are combined: the tough tree and the hard rock, both rugged in their own regard.
