Chatham Light is easy to find but hard to photograph creatively. Being an important active beacon, the property is closed off to visitors, so the only angle for a non-tresspassing photographer is straight-on. After a few attempts over the years, I finally made a picture of Chatham Light that I'm happy with — assisted by crisp light and a solitary white cloud nicely positioned in a deep blue sky.
