I spent an entire morning photographing the Pinnacles Desert in Western Australia's Nambung National Park, but I easily could have spent a week. If I lived in this region, I'd shoot there all the time; alas, it's literally half a world away from home. The light was fantastic that morning, making for great color work. But I liked a little black-and-white, too, to emphasize the forms of this surreal landscape.
