A typical scene for a Florida morning: Seagulls congregate on the shore at sunrise, pecking in the sand for whatever gulls peck for. I almost didn't make this photo because I thought it was too obvious. But I was on assignment and hadn't gotten any good sunset photos, so I went ahead and did it. Ironically, it was published within a week.
