I captured this image while perched at the top of a canyon photographing down on a trio of turkey buzzards that were scoping the Texas desert floor. Photographing birds in flight is one of the most difficult tasks in nature photography. But for this one instant, this one buzzard made it a smidge easier, as it soared right in front of me and looked my way.
