Shooting during a snowstorm in southern Connecticut, I found myself at the edge of a large field that dipped in the middle, like a huge oblong bowl. The view from the lip of the field allowed me to point my camera with unimpeded view at any spot on the other side. At the edge of the clearing, I found these two young pine trees covered with snow, contrasted perfectly by the dark green of the older pines behind.
